Fabrics made of hemp are considered to be hypoallergenic and non-irritating to the skin. Testing has indicated that hemp is even able to kill bacteria that come in contact with its surface. Hemp fabrics soften with age, wash and wear, but the tensile strength of hemp is eight times that of cotton fibre and it's thus also exceptionally strong and durable in child use.
